I received my Ph.D. in 2016 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a scholar of the history of the book and medieval studies, I have also been fascinated by the multimedia aspect of literature. The binding of a book or the layout of a page holds so much to understanding the literature contained within. The interest in multimedia and multimodal artistic presentation spans far beyond the late Middle Ages. I have also studied the impact e-books have on student perceptions of literature and taught students to compose effective documents in a variety of media formats. From podcasts to videos to document design to games, I have incorporated all of it into my teaching.
