The Digital ACT Studio, the Digital Media Commons, and the Graduate School will host a Grad Student Digital Bootcamp August 6-7, 2018, from 10am-3pm in Jackson Library. Open to all graduate students and all skill levels, the bootcamp will consist of a series of workshops designed to teach grad students a variety of skills and topics essential to being a digitally literate scholar today: data visualization, GIS, video editing, audio editing, web design, and markup languages (HTML/XML). Although the two-day event won’t teach everything there is to know about these topics, it will provide the resources necessary for continued digital development for grad students’ teaching and research.
Lunch will be provided, and space is limited. Please RSVP to digitalacts@uncg.edu to reserve your spot. If you have any other questions or require any accommodations for the bootcamp, please email digitalacts@uncg.edu.
