Research Posters
General Guidelines
Posters should reward a skim as well as an in-depth reading.
Posters are read vertically, so arrange your sections beginning from the top left, moving down and across as you go.
Font size is important, since they are often read at a distance. Do NOT reduce font size to squeeze in more information.
Use lists and bullet points instead of copying and pasting unbroken blocks of text.
Do NOT use images as a background for text. It obscures the image and impairs readability.
Choose a tonally appropriate color palette with 3-5 colors total.
